What you knead to know about ordering

Can I have items delivered on different days in the same order?

Absolutely! Go crazy and order all you want, I'd love to see you three times a week! ;)

When will my order be delivered?

I'll deliver your order between 3:00-5:00pm on your chosen delivery day. If you provide your mobile number, I will text when I am on my way to your house.

What if I'm not home during delivery time?

No problem! I am happy to leave your products on your front porch. If you have a preferred location on your front porch, please tell me in the comments during checkout.  Once the item is left on the front porch, the order belongs to you and is your responsibility, so please consider the critter & temperature threats (bread does well in cold, but not great in extreme heat). Feel free to leave an ice chest on the porch for temperature or critter control or arrange an evening pickup time with me instead of delivery if you have concerns.

Can I order by phone?

Yes! Call me at 651-249-6907.

Can I pay with cash or check?

Yes! That option is available on the last page of your Checkout. It's at the very bottom of the box that asks for your credit card.

How do I pay with Venmo?

If you are on your phone, there is a "Venmo" option at checkout. I believe you have to be using the most current version of the Venmo app.

If you are ordering from a computer, the easiest way to pay with Venmo is to choose "Cash on Delivery" in Checkout and then use your phone app to send your payment to @FiddlesticksBakery.

What's the latest you can place an order?

Orders must be placed by 3pm the day before delivery day. Cancellations must be finalized by 3pm the day before your scheduled delivery day.

What is the return policy?

If you are unsatisfied with an item purchased at Fiddlesticks Bakery, please let me know and return the uneaten portion of the product within 24 hours of receipt of your product. Full or partial refunds and store credit are decided on a case-by-case basis, but my goal is always to leave you happy.

How should I care for my bread?

Please don't store bread in the refrigerator. Short story - room temperature for a few days or freezer for longer. Long story - click here

Sourdough has a lovely, crusty exterior that acts as its own wrapper. It is best kept 2-3 days cut-side-down in a bread box. But...slicing crusty bread can be a challenge. If you order it pre-sliced, it is best in a plastic bag on the counter for 1-2 days. To keep longer, wrap well and freeze. Grab a slice at a time and pop it in the toaster to thaw.

Oatmeal Bread is best in a plastic bag on the counter for 5 days. To keep longer, wrap it well and freeze. If you slice it before freezing, it's easy to grab a slice from the freezer and pop it in the toaster in the morning.

Italian White varieties do best for 1-2 days in a paper bag on the counter.  If it is pre-sliced, keep in plastic bag 2-3 days. To keep longer, wrap it well in plastic and freeze. If you slice it before freezing, it's easy to grab a slice from the freezer and pop it in the toaster.

Oatcakes have an astonishing shelf life for a moist little treat. We've kept them up to a week on the counter, though they rarely last that long. They will freeze well, also.

What to say about Kringle shelf life? Good luck testing that, they don't stay around long enough. But they will be good 2-3 days on the counter. It also freezes nicely wrapped in plastic.

Banana Breads can last 2-3 days at room temperature. They freeze beautifully for longer storage.

Granola is good for 2 weeks in the provided bag. Seal it in a plastic bag or bucket for up to 6 months in your cabinet. Granola will keep indefinitely in the freezer.
